PLAYGROUND INITIATIVE WORKDAY
On Saturday, November 8th, NPC, RPD, and the Crocker Amazon Park Advisory Board hosted two simultaneous playground workdays at Crocker Amazon. The workdays were held at the playground at Italy St. and the playground on the corner of Geneva and Moscow. NPC gave a gift of 20 tons of clean playground sand which was distributed between the sand areas at the two playgrounds. Over 20 volunteers helped to install the new sand. Volunteers also weeded planted areas around the playgrounds. Thanks to all who helped to revitalize Crocker Amazon!

NEW INFO KIOSK INSTALLED AT CROCKER AMAZON
A new Kiosk is in place at the Moscow/Italy entrance of Crocker Amazon Park! It joins its sister kiosk installed at the entrance gates to the new soccer fields.
Thanks to the efforts of park partners and friends, especially Meredith Thomas/NPC, Brian Pangan/ Crocker Park Section Supervisor and the great carpenter's shop for the beautiful work and installation.
The Crocker Amazon Park Advisory Board plans to load up this kiosk informing park users and pedestrians about upcoming park and recreation classes & events, meetings, reporting park problems with Parkscan and 311 and how to contact park staff.
