India Basin Walking Tour

Meet at the entrance to Heron’s Head Park, Cargo Way & Jennings Street
Enjoy a 2 hour, flat, 3 mile loop walk, with 8 informational stops
The San Francisco Redevelopment Agency has created a DRAFT Plan for the 76-acre India Basin Shoreline — from the PG&E Power Plant to the Hunters Point Shipyard — that changes: Zoning, Building Heights, Transportation & Housing. Walk with community members to hear creative ideas to revitalize the area by zoning for:
· Places for Children, Youth & Family Fun
· Restaurants, Food Stores & Clubs
· Business Opportunities & Jobs
· Bike & Pedestrian Paths
· Maritime Recreation Destination
· Boating Access & Water Taxis
· Dog Agility Course
· Extreme Sport Park
· Farm & Marketplace
· Safe Streets & Sidewalks
