You are invited to an informal work party at Warm Water Cove on Sat. November 1st, from 9 AM-12 PM. The Port has been able to get more compost and mulch to finish off the 2 gardens before rainfall and the material is being dumped next to the beds this week. The beds need to be weeded then we will cover around the plants with cardboard, then cover all with compost and mulch chips. We can sprinkle wild flower seeds too, so please bring some if you happen to have any!
Bring rakes, shovels and work gloves. We will have several weeding hand tools for people to use. Stay as long or as short a time as you like. Come over when you can. If we do not finish this Sat. we will schedule another work party for next weekend.
