A partnership between the Neighborhood Parks Council (NPC), City Fields Foundation (CFF), and the Recreation and Parks Department (RPD), the Playfields Initiative aims to ensure community enjoyment of newly installed synthetic turf fields, and to maximize the life expectancy of these fields. This is accomplished by hosting park cleanups, meetings about playfield concerns, and community-building events.
