Description
Balboa Park is located at Ocean and San Jose Avenues in the Mission Terrace neighborhood. It is 27.03 acres.
Features and Facilities
A ball park field, children's play structures, and picnic areas are available at Balboa Park. There are east and west bathrooms as well as a parking lot. The park also has the Mathew Boxer Stadium, a community pool, and tennis courts.

History of Balboa Park
When the City gave Balboa Park over to the San Francisco Parks Commission in 1909, the first call on its budget was $100 for a band.
