Crocker Amazon Park

Description

Crocker Amazon Park is located near the Excelsior District, on Geneva Avenue between Moscow and Italy Streets. The park is 56 acres in size.

Features and Facilities

Crocker Amazon Park features a playground, basketball and tennis courts, bocce ball court, baseball and soccer fields.

The Park's soccer fields were renovated with the help of the City Fields Foundation in fall 2008. The fields were opened for use in October 2008. More information, HERE.

History of Crocker Amazon Park

Starting out as a Reservoir site, belonging to the Public Utilities Commission,in 1934, the Recreation Commission requested and received permission to develop 55 acres at Geneva Avenue and Moscow Street for recreational purposes.
