Garfield Square Park

Description

Garfield Park is a 3.46-acre park located in the Mission District/Bernal Heights on Harrison St. between 25th and 26th St. This park has many facilities including children's play structures, a community pool, picnic areas, an artificial turf playfield, and a clubhouse.

Getting To Garfield Square Park
The park is accessible by car and has limited street parking nearby. Garfield Square is also walking distance from the 24th St. BART stop and can be accessed using the 67, 12, 27, or the 48 Muni bus.

Features and Facilities

Park Hours
Recreation Facilities: 9am-7pm
Playfield: 9am-10pm

Garfield Pool
The Garfield Pool is 100 feet long x 40 feet wide and 4 to 10 feet deep. The poor is indoors and water temperature is maintained between 80 and 85 degrees. From June 16 to August 25, 2008 the pool is open M-F from 6am-9pm, Saturdays from 9:15am-4:30pm and Sundays 10am-2:30pm.

Volunteer Opportunities

Help improve YOUR Neighborhood Park as a Park Scanner!

Become a Park Scan Volunteer:

Monitor your Park's condition once a week to ensure it is clean, green, and safe. Report broken swings, benches, or other large maintenance issues to the Recreation and Park Department via the web.
